Agencies on ScholarVoya

Recruitment agencies help students choose programmes and prepare applications. An agency can work with students on ScholarVoya only after ScholarVoya has verified it.

What an agency gives us

  • its business registration number and its registration certificate;
  • the name of its director and the year it was founded;
  • its address and its contact details;
  • the size of its team, the number of students it helps each year and the countries it sends them to.

It can add references, certifications and other business documents. ScholarVoya's staff read the file and approve or refuse it.

The rules every agency accepts

Before it is verified, the agency's owner accepts ScholarVoya's agency terms. Under them, the agency:

  • adds only students who have agreed to be represented by it;
  • uses students' details only to help them;
  • does not contact ScholarVoya's partner institutions directly about students or applications that go through ScholarVoya.

The agency confirms the student's agreement each time it adds one.

What stays under your control

  • When you open the account an agency prepared for you, you choose whether it keeps access to your profile.
  • You can stop sharing your profile with an agency at any time in Account → Privacy.
  • An application an agency prepares is still checked by a ScholarVoya officer before it goes to the institution.

After verification

Verification is not the end. ScholarVoya follows each agency's work: how complete its students' files are, the quality of their documents, how quickly it answers, and the complaints made about it. We also look for the same student registered by two agencies.

ScholarVoya may end its work with an agency that breaks these rules.

What verification does not mean

It confirms that an agency is a registered business that has accepted our rules. It does not guarantee its advice, and no agency can guarantee an admission, a scholarship or a visa. If an agency asks you for money in exchange for a guaranteed result, report it.
